I just learned a useful tip from PCDVD forum. Display two languages while playing a AVI file. How to do so? Just need to copy the content of first subtitle file and append the content into second subtitle file. That's all. But this tip is only for .srt file.

For example, you have files such as:

  • movie.avi
  • movie.en.srt
  • movie.big.srt

Now, you can add a new file named movie.enbig.srt which consists of content of both movie.en.srt and movie.big.srt . Then, you will have files:

  • movie.avi
  • movie.en.srt
  • movie.big.srt
  • movie.enbig.srt -> your new subtitle file combined above two subtitle files.

Then, choose the new subtitle file when playing movie, you will see two languages.

Sometimes some subtitle files don't sync the video while playing a movie. This afternoon I surfed the internet and looked for solution. I had tried several utilities. At last, I found a good tool which completely met my requirement. Multi-language supported and excellent interface. No need to install, as long as launch the execution file. You can set the dalay time of a subtitle, and it can be saved as another file. So perfect.

anSuber , and I am using anSuber version 0.55 . It support both .srt and .sub subtitle file.
