上個禮拜的週末下午，爬完了虎頭山而順道去附近的法雅克逛逛，當我在唱片區瀏覽時，被旁邊的電視正在播放的節目吸引了過去，就一直站在那呆呆地看了好久好久。
節目場景像是一個大型演唱會，台下聚集了好多好多民眾，結果主持人一看，怎是 Will Smith，怎麼電影不去演跑來主持節目，而氣氛上又好像怪怪地，因為好像在發表演說，有種激勵人心的感覺，結果仔細一聽，才知道原來這是全球連線的節目，由世界各地許許多多的城市的人同時聚集起來，透過大螢幕而使得各個演唱會場地都能互相的看到另外一個場地的表演，就這樣一個一個接力下去，有很多各地知名的歌手、樂團輪番接力地表演，以呼籲全球的人來關心非洲貧窮的問題。
這個活動叫做 Live 8，是在 2005 年七月的時候舉辦的，天阿！那時候我怎不曉得有這種活動。聽到 Will Smith 在說這個世界需要我們的幫助，把非洲的貧窮變成歷史，等等等的話，後來聽到比較震撼的是，他說每三秒就有一個小孩死去，真是恐怖的數字，天阿！光我打這篇文章，就不知多少小朋友離開了這世間。其實有時我也常想，人到這世間真是有很多的不公平，有的人剛出生就面臨飢寒交迫的困境，能多活一日都是問題；有的人則咬著銀湯匙長大，什麼也不用擔憂。
以前我也常思索一個問題，為什麼地球上要分這麼多的國家？為什麼不能全部統一呢？那或許貧富的差距就不會這麼大了。真的，想想，我們真該好好感謝老天賜與我們的恩典，讓我們至少還不愁吃不愁穿，而且我們也該多付出我們的愛心，幫助弱勢的人，不過這年頭真是太多招搖撞騙的人了，讓大家的愛心付之流水，唉！
以前聽 Michael Jackson 的 "Heal the world" 這首歌，常常會莫名的感動，希望大家一起來 heal the world, make a better place。
